Where does the Annual Fund Money Go?

The money from the PTA Annual Fund Drive goes directly to Franklin and impacts each and every Franklin student. The following basic programs and equipment that we take for granted, are NOT funded by the State or the District. It all exists each and every year solely because of your generous financial support.

  • field trips and assemblies
  • necessary classroom supplies for each teacher
  • supplement Smart Boards and Chrome Books in every classroom
  • technology upgrades –  including cutting edge learning software
  • copy machine purchasing, maintenance, and supplies
  • library books
  • campus beautification programs enhancing our green spaces
  • earthquake supplies, including food, water, and first aid

Because of the increase in giving in recent years we were able to:

  • Fund a new Science Lab
  • fund additional field trips
  • purchase 5 educational software programs for all grade levels
