Monday, December 3rd – Wed December 19th, Front Office Lobby
Canned soup, stews and other meats as well as packaged pasta and beans all urgently needed to help those struggling to put food on the table during the holidays. During the week of December 10th there will be collection tables every morning during drop -off (8am to 8:30am) at the front and back gates.
Franklin and the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District will be holding a food drive for the Westside Food Bank from December 3rd to December 19th. There will be collection barrels in the front office lobby the entire time and Pack 97, the Cub Scouts troop at Franklin, will be manning collection tables each morning during the week of December 10th at both the front and Idaho gates, so it will be easy to make donations at drop-off.
The Westside Food Bank is located in Santa Monica and works with social service agencies in Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, West Hollywood, West Los Angeles, Inglewood and the LAX area to provide food assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of these communities. Beneficiaries of your donations will include families who are deciding between eating or paying rent, the unemployed, the homeless, seniors on fixed incomes, women in domestic violence shelters, the mentally ill, veterans and others in need. Please donate generously!!

- Pasta, Lentils, Pinto and other beans.

- Hot and Cold Cereals
- Peanut Butter & other Nut Butters
- Nutritional Bars: protein, granola, energy or breakfast bars
Baby Food & Diapers
Socks of all sizes
Blankets
Travel size sundries like shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
