Franklin Families participate each year in Pennies for Patients to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Last year the Franklin community raised over $3,000 (that’s 300,000 pennies!) Let’s see if we can beat that number! Running this year from Jan. 23rd through Feb. 3rd, the PTA asks that you encourage your kids to collect spare change (or more) in honor of children battling cancer.
On Monday, January 23rd every child will receive a collection container and information about the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Pennies for Patients campaign in their backpacks. Please review the material with your child(ren) and give them your own two cents. You can also donate online by visiting this website and clicking on “Donate to a Participating School.” Please bring collection containers to your teacher in the classroom by Friday, February 3rd. Email Dana Kotler at email@example.com if you have any questions. Thank you for helping with this worthy cause!
