Three weeks after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, 40% of the island´s population still has no water and 85% is without power. Many families lost their homes, and they lost 80% of their crops. We can help! Franklin parents Martha Batalha and Juan Suarez have offered to cover the cost of delivery and distribution of our donations on the island to various local charities, churches, and relatives.

Please consider donating these basic items:

  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Canned food
  • Baby food
  • Batteries C, D & AA
  • Diapers
  • Baby wipes
  • Medicine – Tylenol, Children’s Tylenol, Flu Medications, Neosporin
  • New and used toys (small and medium) for kids, crayons and coloring books

Starting this Tuesday, donation bins will be set out at both the Montana and Idaho gates. After drop off, the bins will be moved to the first floor hallway by Room 4.  If you are interested in donating money instead, Juan Suarez has verified these charities (he is a local from Puerto Rico):
