1 – CAPTA Legislation Conference: Annual statewide conference. Time to register, book your hotel and transportation for best prices – there are a limited number of discounted hotel rooms and last year this conference sold out.

This is a statewide conference where you hear from California’s education leaders about what’s happening in education funding and policy. Past speakers include majority and minority leaders of the CA Assembly and the Senate; assistant to attorney general re. education; Senator Ben Allen; member of State Board of Ed and more.
Cost: $235 per person, $169 group rate hotel

2 – Sacramento Safari: A smaller, learning trip with high school youth and adult delegates from 33rd PTA District (extends from Malibu to below Torrance)
Safari Registration deadline: Jan. 22, 2018
Fill out application/info form above, make out check for full amount to ‘SMMPTA Council’, include copy of PTA membership card – send to email@example.com and/or ask front office to give to John Jericiau, Franklin PTA President.
