A huge thank you to all who supported the Pennies for Patients Drive these past few weeks. Our Franklin School goal was to raise $4,000.00 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and we raised $7,443.23!!!
All classes that collected over $100, $200, and $300 dollar donations will receive either bronze, silver, or gold pennants respectively to display in their rooms. The classes earning the highest totals were announced at Friday morning’s assembly and are: third place, Ms. Hakomori’s class with $445.41, in second place Ms. Brossoit’s class with $517.32, and in first place with $2,058.21 Ms. Hirsch’s class. We also recognized fourth grader Zoe Dale for raising over $1,600.00 on her own–nice work Zoe! If any student still has donations to submit, please take your coins to any Coinstar machine and select “donation” and “Leukemia and Lymphoma Society;” your donation will automatically go to LLS without any fees deducted. Thank you again for helping to make a difference for this very worthy cause!
