Fifth Grade Families! Culmination D
ay is quickly approaching! As a special part of this year’s ceremony we are excited to be incorporating flowers in honor of each and every teacher & staff member at the school who has taught or supported your child during his or her time at Franklin! These elegant floral arrangements will be a stunning addition to our ceremony decor and will be given to teachers and staff as a take home gift following the ceremony. What makes these arrangements truly unique is that we are asking graduates and their families to bring in a flower for each teacher they have had at Franklin, as well as aides and other educators they have been influenced by during their time here. Each curated arrangement will be a personal and heartfelt gift from our community of graduates to the amazing individuals who have nurtured and taught our children over these past 6 years.

What do we bring and when?
Please have your child bring flowers to drop off on TUESDAY, June 5th. We will have collection tables set up at Montana and Idaho entrances.
How many flowers should we bring?
We recommend bringing a total of 15 individual stems (for classroom teachers, adminstrators, specialists, etc) though any number is appreciated. If you are inclined to bring more than 15 stems, please do! We will use them!
What kind of flowers?
Any kind of flower is great! If your child has a favorite flower or color, please bring it! Trader Joe’s, Pavilions and Whole Foods all sell great flowers, as do the many flower shops in the area. If you have flowers blooming in your own garden, those would be great too! When selecting flowers, please remember that longer stems are better for these arrangements. Feel free to bring individual stems or pre-made bouquets – we will pull out individual stems and will arrange them beautifully into curated bouquets. Do not worry about wrapping or embellishments – we only need flowers!
Anything else?
Please make sure your child transports the flowers carefully (no stuffing in backpacks, please!) and finds us at drop off on June 5th.
This beautiful addition to our ceremony decor will only be possible with the participation of every one of our graduates. Please mark your calendars and join us in this last group activity before the end of the school year!
