Thank You, SMM PTA Council, for Advocating for Our Students!

The Santa Monica – Malibu Parent Teacher Association Council recently sent a letter to the Mayor of Santa Monica and the City Council members with this message: despite the upcoming budget cuts, the City of Santa Monica MUST continue to run necessary programs and services for children and youth! Please see the full letter below.

YOUR voice is heard in this letter, as this letter represents the feelings of every PTA and PTA President in the district. If you’d like to do more, however, we encourage all PT(S)A members to send in comments as individuals (signing as individuals) in support of PTA Council’s letter and/or attend the City Council meeting to make public comment to that effect. That kind of wider support builds on PTA advocacy and strengthens our voice as a school community.
