Does your son love to explore the world? Come join us! We’re having a New Parent Orientation and Information session on Sunday, September 7, at 4 pm, on the Franklin south lawn. Contact our Cub Master Eric Lupo at cubmaster@pack97.com for more information. Our website is: http://pack97.com.
The goal of Cub Scouting is to have fun and learn at the same time. A Cub Scout gets satisfaction from meeting challenges, having friends, feeling good about himself, and feeling he is important to other people. Cub Scouts learn new things, discover and master new skills, gain self-confidence, and develop strong friendships. Cultivating a love and appreciation of the outdoors and outdoor activities are key elements. There is also an emphasis on values and character development.
Cub Scout Pack 97 is open to all families from 1st through 5th grade. We are an awesome group of adults and kids intent on learning and having as much fun as possible. We’ve got big plans for this year, including camping in Joshua Tree and overnighting on the Star of India tall ship in San Diego. Den and Pack meetings are monthly during the school year. We’d love to have you!
