Giving to the Franklin PTA Annual Fund assures that our community and school will

The Franklin PTA counts on you for your continued support in providing the best possible learning environment for our children. Gifts to our school represent our dedication to the student experience and help to make every day at Franklin valuable. This important, collective effort brings opportunities for learning and discovery, as well as the ability for our school to be responsive to emerging prospects and challenges.
Each year , our Franklin PTA Annual fund has a monetary goal and a participation goal of 100%. This year, our Franklin PTA Annual Fund goal is $100,000. To help our community meet our goal, our current ask is $500 per child; however, we truly know that any amount is greatly appreciated.

Academic Software
Examples are IXL, Newsela, Renaissance Star Reading and Math
Teacher Grants
Affords supplementary supplies like, art materials, manipulatives and teaching aids, and science lesson materials
Technology
Upgrades and maintenance of equipment like Chromebooks and an additional copy machine for the front office
Parent Education
Seminars led by experts in the field of mental health, anxiety, technology and social justice, and Science Club events
PTA Operating Expense
Includes bookkeeping services, taxes and website maintenance
Legislative Advocacy
Advocating and recommending action on legislation like local Measure SM and California State Propositions 15 and 16
Local Outreach
Supporting the efforts of local charities like the Santa Monica Education Foundation and Feeding Families Santa Monica
