If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time. Read below to get started!

The Move-A-Thon will take place on Friday, November 22nd. This is the Franklin PTA's largest and only fundraiser of the year. The Move-A-Thon and The Annual Fund are what raise funds that allow us to provide all the support that we do as a PTA, so participation is essential for your child.

We need the entire community's help to make this Move-A-Thon the most successful one yet! We want to provide a FAQ and step by step guide for those parents that are new to the Move-A-Thon or just need a refresher.  We are hoping this guide will help us reach 100% participation this year!

Now, here is how to get started:

Step 1- Register your child in Pledgestar.  This step is critical but does not meet the threshold of participation.

Step 2- Send out 1 or more requests to family, friends or anyone else you think will sponsor your child.  Once you send out a request, your child has officially participated, regardless of money brought it.  This is critical for earning your class a pizza party!

Step 3- Friends and family can open their invitations and donate in a variety of ways!  They can use credit cards or checks and if you or a loved one works for a company that matches donations, there is an option for that too!  Once your student has at least $100 in donations, individual prizes start to accumulate.

Step 4- Join in the fun as we watch our classes work toward 100% participation!  Who doesn't love a little friendly competition?!  There will be Bolts on every classroom door, measuring progress week to week with lots of celebrating along the way.  Please also remember to check your class emails and the Flash for weekly updates on our progress!

Finally, the Move-A-Thon will need lots of support from our parents in the form of volunteering as well.  We will need help on the day of the event as well as the weeks leading up to the event. Please fill out this form to sign up to volunteer!
