Bike It, Walk It - Friday, May 10 at 7:45 a.m. on Idaho between 23rd and 25th Streets

Franklin’s Green Team is excited for our bi-annual Bike It Walk It event, coming up Friday May 10th!  We have arranged with the city to close off Idaho Ave, between 23rd and 25th Streets to allow our kids an opportunity to ride and play before school, beginning at 7:45 am. 

We are gearing up (pun intended) for some fun and meaningful events, all to take place on Idaho.  There will be demo bikes and lots of games to keep the kids active, snacks to nourish them and a table where kids and parents alike can pledge a commitment to the environment.  Because that’s what it’s all about! 

Please arrive by bike, on foot, by bus, scooter, anything but a car!  If you do need to drive please park at least 3 blocks away to be counted in the tally for Franklin to win back the Golden Shoe, and an ICE CREAM PARTY for the entire school! Please join us from 7:45 – 8:15 Friday May 10th!

To keep it safe and fun, we also need some volunteers.
