Parent Ed: Homework Help!: Fostering Skills Towards Tackling Homework Independently

Homework is a necessary tool in the education of our children, but it comes with a lot of pitfalls for us parents. In a world that is always humming with distractions, competing priorities, and mourning requirements, parents and students both feel the pressure when the homework folder comes home.

In order to be good helpers to our children, and help them to develop good habits and work independently, the PTA is offering its next Parent Ed. Hosted by our lovely school psych intern, Tomomi Hongo, we will be discussing strategies to team up with our children to tackle the homework struggle and create an environment more cohesive to independence.

Join us January 30th in Room 3 at 8:45am.
