Join the PTA Now!
Hi Friends - I am reaching out to remind you to renew or join our Franklin PTA this year. In my family, myself, Steve and Stevie are all members.Did you know grandparents can even join?
In fact, I am proud to share that we have 100% teacher participation in membership. It costs $10 per person and gives you a voice at our monthly PTA meetings, entitles you to vote on important school issues and, most importantly, it benefits our children. Joining the PTA demonstrates to your child the importance you place on their education, volunteering and community involvement. By participating in PTA functions, you will meet other parents and teachers (as you know, a parent community like no other). And by attending monthly meetings, you can bring suggestions and ideas on how to make our school even better.
The PTA has begun the year with so many activities! Our Back to School Picnic was a great success with over 500 parents and children in attendance. Gardening Club is well at work and Art Cart too! Science Club has been at capacity with so many kids interested! Mile Club is back in action. Reflections and the Reading Club are too! We are off to such an amazing start! The Flash Newsletter is such a great spot for you to find the weekly happenings and our website: franklinschoolpta.org, is always up to date.
Our PTA is continuing to expand upon our many programs within the Science Club and Science Fair, the Multicultural Fair, Holiday and Spring Book Fair, Movie Night, our upcoming Move-A-Thon! In addition to all of the events and activities, our PTA provides essential items like academic software, technology upgrades, school maintenance and impressive teacher grants for continued education, supplies and materials.
Your participation really benefits our children and our school. So please remember to join the PTA this year and we also hope you are able to donate! To get us to our PTA membership goal, we need 100 more members, just 3 more per class to join. I'll make a deal with you - if we get to over 575 members, we will have an all school popsicle party and if we can get to 100% participation, we will have an all school pizza party! Let's do this Franklin!
