Help Our School Garden and Get Free Compost This Sunday!

Bring your dirt loving kid, gloves and containers for this fun, self-service event (please be prepared to load your own compost). This event is open to all Santa Monica residents with proof of residency. Please consider donating some of your extra compost to our Franklin Gardening Club or classroom gardens.

When - Saturday, Mar 1, 2025, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Where - City Yards 2500 Michigan Ave. Santa Monica, CA 90404

Also, our Gardening Club is always looking for volunteers to help with our thriving student garden. Our Gardening Club meets every Tuesday and Friday (on non-rainy days) and serves 1st-5th graders during lunch recess, 11:45am - 1:05pm.  You can sign-up for a one-time session or come on a weekly basis, whatever works best for you.
