Students to Veterans Project Update

Melissa Sullivan and a team of wonderful parents & teachers were able to gather three bundles of letters, handmade cards, and thank you drawings during art cart from children in TK through fifth grade, to be delivered to our veterans hospital and community center where Nina Segil personally delivers them every year for us.

Nina and other caregivers and nurses at the home for heroes, read the letters to the veterans who have injuries or are blind/ unable to read and enjoy the children’s drawings, so it’s wonderful to have a mixture of drawings as well as heartfelt letters!
