Join as a Franklin Friend Volunteer!

 As a Franklin Friend lunch time volunteer, your role is to help with lunch by assisting in opening lunch boxes as needed, encouraging cleanup, and providing a positive structure to the lunch program. We’ve also made some pre-printed kindness cards to hand out, playing off of the idea of a lunch note that can bring a kid some momentary joy and that they can trade with friends if they like, slip one into someone else's backpack or lunchbox, and brighten their day. They can use pre-printed ones and put their name on it to give to someone or they can write their own. This volunteer position is SOLELY at lunch during the 11:25-12:25 and 12:25-1:15 slots, and there will be other opportunities at Mile Club and Art Cart to encourage kindness, inclusion, respect, and self esteem throughout the year. We know that our kids learn by modeling and we want to encourage this behavior as much as possible throughout their day and the school year!
