Campus Improvements Along Montana Begin Monday, Nov 6
Over the next few months, you will begin to see a transformation of the outdoor space in front of the Cafetorium. We will clear the overgrown shrubbery and remove the broken drip system. We will begin to work with the Surfrider Foundation to help establish our Ocean Friendly Garden that once thrived in that area.
Work began last weekend, when Franklin Alumni, David Zhao, Eagle Scout from our community Troop 2, along with his family and fellow scouts built our garden area two new benches. Some photos can be found here.
We are also excited to be working with Beautify Earth to help modernize our Cafetorium Murals that currently face Montana and to the east facing 25th Street. Our artist painted the murals on the handball courts, the PE office and the area outside of the lunch tables. Our goal is to unveil the new murals by the new year. To prepare for this overhaul, we will spend some time painting and repairing stucco to get the building ready. It is important to note that come November 6th, the outdoor murals as you see it will become a solid canvas for our upcoming new creative. So when you drive by and see blank walls, please know progress has begun to modernize and beautify our amazing Franklin Campus.
We are looking forward to this refreshed space and are excited to unveil it to our community. If you have any questions, please reach out to president@franklinschoolpta.org
