Science Club: All About Black Holes- New Answers and Questions From the James Webb Space Telescope

Please join Alice Shapley, a Franklin mom and professor of Astronomy at UCLA, for an interactive presentation about black holes. A black hole is one of the strangest places in the universe, where space and time behave in unfamiliar ways, and matter is crushed to what we call a “singularity.” We will untangle some of the mysteries of black holes and talk about brand new data from the James Webb Space Telescope that help us understand the origin of these mind-boggling objects.

When: Tuesday, February 11 at 6:00 PM

Where: MPR

Who: Open to all Franklin students TK-5th
