Share Your Feedback on Para-Educators

As part of the Special Education District Advisory Committee (SEDAC) for SMMUSD, we’re gathering input on the role of para-educators (or “paras”)—the classroom assistants who provide direct support to students with special needs by reinforcing lessons, managing behavior, and helping implement IEPs.

We’re asking parents / guardians to take a quick (2–5 minute), anonymous survey to help us identify what’s working well and where improvements can be made. Your feedback will directly inform recommendations shared with the school board—your voice truly makes a difference.
