The Math Olympiad is Back!

The PTA is excited to sponsor another year of Math Olympiad!

Calling all 4th & 5th Graders, have you heard about the Math Olympiad yet? This year five of our fourth and fifth graders will have an Enrichment Opportunity Sponsored by Franklin’s PTA to compete in the E = MC2 (Excellence in Math, Culver City) Tournament, with the possibility of a second qualifying team of 5 students. This year’s competition with take place on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 from 8:30am - 1:00pm at El Rincon Elementary School located at 11177 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA 90230.

Interested in participating?
Qualifying Test: Tuesday, January 23th 7:40am – 8:25am

  • Room 32 for 4th graders

  • Room 37 for 5th graders

Specific information about the classes and the test (including sample problems to practice) will be sent home with 4th and 5th grade students on Tuesday, January 16, so be on the lookout!
