Art Cart is Back and Needs You!

We are thrilled to announce that starting next week, September 10th, our Art Cart program for grades 1st through 5th will officially begin!

The Art Cart has been a wonderful way to provide students with a creative outlet during their lunch breaks, offering a relaxing alternative to the more active playgrounds. It's a chance for children to express themselves through art, either individually or with friends.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support the Art Cart during lunch recess. No prior art skills or experience are needed—just a willingness to encourage creativity! All materials and simple instructions will be provided.

Volunteer Details:

  • When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

  • What: Assist with simple art projects and support a creative environment

  • Where: Franklin School in front of the MultiPurpose room (MPR) - Check-in at the front office

We encourage you to sign up for as many slots as you are able to, whether that's one day or every week. Consider partnering with a fellow friend/parent to make this a regular commitment!

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in enriching our students' experiences!

***Please note, T/K Kinder Art Cart days/times TBA. Please contact Melissa Sullivan should you have interest in becoming a captain/volunteer. (melissarosesullivan@gmail.com)***
