School Safety Seminar: Learn About Franklin's Campus Emergency Procedures

Save the date: Thursday, 12/1 at 8:45am in Room 28.

Hear from Mr. Zeevi, Mrs. Hynding, Officer Angel, our PTA Health & Safety leaders and our Staff Emergency Team about the specific ways Franklin is prepared to respond to emergency situations on campus. Learn about:

· The Franklin Parent Handbook which has all safety drill facts should emergencies arise

· The role of the SRO (School Resource Officer) and his protocol to support the schools and respond to emergencies

· Site protocols for Earthquakes, Active Shooter, Fire, Lockdown, Shelter in Place drills

· Reunion/Request gates

· Communication during emergencies

· Emergency shed and supplies in every classroom in the event of a lockdown

· Raptor Management system

*This will NOT be a district meeting discussing campus security issues/concerns that are being discussed in the neighborhood--this is an in-person guide to what our staff does to keep the kids safe when on campus.

The vibe will be friendly, comforting, and informative!
