Special Budget Meeting for Santa Monica, Sat, March 8th at 9am

The City of Santa Monica is holding a special budget hearing this Saturday, March 8th, at 9 am in Santa Monica Main Library's Multi-Purpose Room (601 Santa Monica Blvd). The City Council will be considering how to close a multi-million dollar budget shortfall, and that may impact the funding that the City gives to our school district. Teacher and program cuts may be on the line. The Franklin PTA is encouraging school parents to show up to the hearing to ask the City Council to not cut funding to our schools!
